Art Center for the
Islands
The Art Center for the Islands is a thriving center of
the visual arts to Mustang Island, Padre Island and the
neighboring communities. Artists from all over the Coastal
Bend, Austin, San Antonio, Houston & all points in between,
plus Winter Texans from all over the United States and
Canada enjoy displaying + selling their work and/ or taking
classes and workshops. Locals, tourists and artists as well
love to shop in our Galleries & Gift Shop. See you soon!
New Logo
Contest
The Art Center for the Islands has changed its name
to
Port Aransas Art
Center
We require a new original design logo
reflective of the island community
and evidence of the center's artistic contributions as a
gallery and arts education center.
Anyone may enter as many designs as you wish.

7th Annual ARTFEST in Port Aransas,
TX, sponsored by Art Center for the Islands a 501 ( C) (3)
Non-profit corp. Dates: May 19 & 20, 2012 from 10am - 5pm in
Robert’s Point Park, Port Aransas, TX. 10X10 Booth Space
Fee: $100 Your set-up, no electric. Application deadline
April 1st. Email

served basis. Original Fine Art & Crafts (any reproductions

Square Foot
Building Fund
This donation is to be used only for the
creation of a new Art Center Building and land to build it
on. Each "SQUARE FOOT" donated has a value of $200.00 and
a Certificate of Participation will be provided for each
Donation. Recognition of this Donation will also be
displayed in the new Art Center Building.
A Big
Thank You to All the SQUARE FOOT & Palette Donors, with
these wonderful donations and other fund-raising events
the Building Fund has reached $47,558 in July!
